To some he's a rapper from the 90's that has had personal, as well as professional relationships with everyone from Damon Dash (A&R at Damon Dash Music Group) to 50 Cent (offered a G-Unit recording contract) to Russell Simmons (friend) to P.DIDDY (worked as a writer), to name a few. To others, he's a guy that grew up in the mean streets of Brooklyn, N.Y, hustling crack and cocaine, toting pistols, driving fancy cars and serving 5yrs in Federal Prison. However, if you mention his name nowadays, you'll hear that he's a devoted husband and father of two, who is heavily involved in his church (Mt. Holy Apostolic Church) and now records Gospel music. With his ability to touch an audience that the church has yet to, Shawn is now on a mission to be heard, respected and a driving force behind Gospel Rap music, with hopes of taking it to a height that it has yet to be reached. With 6 major deals under his belt and a vast knowledge of the underworld, who better to have minister to the youth through song? His Debut album, "What The World Needs Now", on the SafeMusic label, will serve as proof that there's about to be a new day dawning. He is also a motivational speaker as well as a performer, with years of experience in panel participation and troubled teen counseling.
